4⭐️ 4🌶I’ll be honest I was avoiding Haunting Adeline for a while because I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised。 Addie has moved into Victorian style home she inherited from her grandmother and finds some pretty unexplainable things happening in the house。 Footsteps， fluttering curtains， ominous feelings， and then red roses start appearing inside her house and she starts getting text messages from an unknown number。 Addie has stalker who isn’t a 4⭐️ 4🌶I’ll be honest I was avoiding Haunting Adeline for a while because I was afraid it wouldn’t live up to the hype and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised。 Addie has moved into Victorian style home she inherited from her grandmother and finds some pretty unexplainable things happening in the house。 Footsteps， fluttering curtains， ominous feelings， and then red roses start appearing inside her house and she starts getting text messages from an unknown number。 Addie has stalker who isn’t afraid to use violence against those who hurt Addie or would try and keep him away from her。 As if that wasn’t enough Addie finds some mysterious journals belonging to her great grandmother that describe her illicit affair with her own stalker and some suspicious circumstances leading up to her death。 Addie’s stalker might not be the monster he initially appears to be。 Zade is a complex man who has dedicated his life to shutting down trafficking rings targeting women and children。 It is his whole focus in life until one day he sees Addie at a book signing and knows that she must be his。 She becomes his new obsession and finds him self struggling between staying focused on his work and protecting Addie from those same men he is trying to take down。 I loved Addie， her inner dialogue was hilarious。 She knew she wasn’t making the smartest choices and yet couldn’t drop herself。 She was brave and foolish with a smart mouth。 I love a morally grey MMC and Zade is definitely dark grey。 He championed abused women and children and yet gave little thought to violating Addie’s space and forcing her to confront her desires for him。 Where this book lost a star for me was with the details that were inconsequential to the plot but helped set the scene。 There were some things that didn’t sound quite right and I felt myself falling out of the story to look them up and see if they made sense。 I found myself looking up whether Victoria houses were built in the 1940s and if they had open floor plans， or if men wore top hats then。 This book excelled when it came to the character interactions。 The chemistry between Addie and Zade was intense， complex， slightly uncomfortable， and unbelievably hot。 I definitely recommend reading the CW/TW because the list is extensive。 。。。more

This book was a masterpiece。 Zade is the most amazing mmc ever。 I didn’t know one character could be the good guy and bad guy all at once。 Zade was so funny too。 I loved all the characters and the story and the structure and the book itself was absolutely gorgeous。 I am starting Hunting Adeline immediately because I need to get more Zade and Adeline asap！！Five stars is not enough for this book， it deserves 10！ I will be recommending this book to everyone

WOW。 I’m so glad I chose this book when I decided to get back into dark romance。 this is my first time reading a work from this author。 i was definitely not disappointed。 the writing was phenomenal。 the characters were great。 i was hooked from the beginning to end。 and let’s not forget about ZADE。 that man is officially on my list for top 5 book boyfriends。 he’s so ugh i cant even put into words。 i need a man like him fr。 cant wait to read the second book。 if you’re looking for a stalker romance WOW。 I’m so glad I chose this book when I decided to get back into dark romance。 this is my first time reading a work from this author。 i was definitely not disappointed。 the writing was phenomenal。 the characters were great。 i was hooked from the beginning to end。 and let’s not forget about ZADE。 that man is officially on my list for top 5 book boyfriends。 he’s so ugh i cant even put into words。 i need a man like him fr。 cant wait to read the second book。 if you’re looking for a stalker romance， definitely read this one。 check trigger warnings first！ 。。。more

I don’t even have the words for how good this book was！ I was on the edge of my seat the entire time wondering what’s gonna happen next。 The fire between Addie and Zade is just 🥵。 The cliffhanger at the end of this book has me diving right into the next one。 I love that the author does tell us this beforehand。 As always check your triggers

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I am not sure my thoughts on this book are healthy！ I thought it was incredibly written。 It is dark， graphic， and I suggest people check trigger warnings。 But it was a unique story and I cannot wait to read the next one。 With all that said， I have to use this opportunity to remind people that while this is a fiction book， women and children are kidnapped and do suffer the horrible things that are depicted in this book。 I do hope there are people out there saving them。
